Letting go `

There's a huge difference between giving up and letting go.
Giving up is sacrificing what was rightfully yours,
& letting go is forgetting what never was.

Sometimes if you just let go,
you'll realize you were
holding on too tight.

It`s sad how some of us live so far in the past & refuse to move on.
It`s sad how so many of us try to move on, but can`t & just go back to the past.
It`s sad how many of us finally do move on, get hurt, & go right back into the past.
